You say Setoguchi, I say Yamaguchi
Well, I don't know where Brian Burke keeps finding money to spend ("Hey, Samueli's going to jail! Let's blow all of his cash!"), but apparently the Ducks have signed Mr. Yamaguchi to a one-year, $870.5k contract. If you're looking for a cheap, not-very-productive fantasy defenseman, you may have to search under his lesser-known surname, Hedican.
But hey, he's only a dozen games shy of his 1,000th regular season game. We may as well have some reason to celebrate this year (Positivity!).
Go Ducks.

On the bright side, Hedican is typically wicked fast in the NHL games. Once a roster update comes, you'll have Niedermayer and Hedican to frustrate your friends with end-to-end rushes.
In real life? Ehhhh...
Heh, yeah, though a roster update at this point means buh bye to Schneider and O'Donnell.
Mostly, I just want to confuse everybody at BoC by insisting on giving Hedican the nickname "Gooch" also.
Aren't we still trying to get rid of extra defensemen?
I never said it was a sensible move. But hey, whatever. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, for now.
Plus maybe as a throw-in Kristi Yamaguchi could center our power play (can't get much worse).
Mr. Yamaguchi will sign for way cheaper in NHL 09, in my dynasty mode he signed for $0.575M!

I thought the bright side was that Kristi Yamaguchi is going to be at games.. heck, if the Kings signed Hedican, I could care less if they went 0-82-0.
