Ducks Gameday—Habs inspire an awfully lazy post
Montreal Canadiens (38-22-9, 2nd in east) at Anaheim Ducks (38-25-7, 4th in west)
I got nothing today. Well, nothing but this nonsense cartoon:
Because of schedule conflicts, I didn't watch the last two Ducks games, in which Anaheim managed to score exactly zero goals. Fret not, though, I'll be watching tonight. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still on a six-game win streak!
No Corey Perry for the next six weeks, I'm told, but I want to see how Carlyle plays this for a game before I say too much on that.

I'm going to the game tonight in the exciting match-up between my 2 least favorite teams in the NHL. I think I'm just going to boo continuously all night.
Well, I at one point in time the Cup basically went back and forth between the Leafs and Habs, and then for a long time it just stayed with the Habs. That cartoon makes sense to me.
The Wild lost to the fucking Sharks today. Watching the Habs beat the Ducks might cheer me up.

-That game seemed weird. Anaheim kept dominating puck possession but didn't have anyone who could actually close it out. Also, was it just me or did Anaheim not try to play physical at all?
-Price looked good.
-Montreal fans are annoying as hell. There was a guy dancing around in a Ducks jersey and some Habs fan tried to jump in front of him. The Ducks fan shoved him out of the way, flipped him off, then went right back to dancing.
-Hope you had a good time in Southern California this weekend, Habs fans; good luck digging your way to your door.
Almost had a clean 9 game Eastern Canada sweep. As they have done to me so often, the Kings let everyone down, losing their game to Montreal. We'll have to settle for 8-1.
Yeah, the Ducks had a dominant run against the Northeast, I guess. Per the L.A. Times, Anaheim had 5 N.E. teams visit this season and surrendered only three first-period goals.
And while I'm sure each of those teams can take some solace in the fact that they don't play in the Pacific Time zone very often, they're still welcome to come on back and give it another try next year.
