Oh man, I read that post earlier from Megalodon and was thinking to myself, "well, there's much ado about nothing". Come on, I mean the Sharks have had pretty good fashion sense so far, what's the worry?
Man, I too am a bit of a Sharks fan; the Kings come first, but the Guppies were never than far back unlike the Quacks. This is just plain embarssing! I feel so bad for Sharks fans.
Kripes, the Kings duds look a bit funky in the white based on what little I saw from high-lites of last night's game, but those Sharks jerseys are aweful!
So, the Quacks may have the bragging rights this year, and the Sharkies are starting to get talked up as Cup favorites. Okay. But who out there is going to challenge the assertion that, by far, the Kings now have the best uni's in the BoC?
So there. Small victory? Maybe, but as Kings fans, we'll take what we can get...

No argument from this end. I have yet to really develop a fondness for the webbed-foot font we got, and I think those Kings shots look pretty darn sharp.
The only little thing that bothers me about the Kings jersey is the Los Angeles part, just because I know it's going to get tucked in and look sloppy. It is only a little annoying right now, but I think it'll have driven me crazy by January.

If it gets tucked in just right it will read "LOSES"
Well, if the one game played so far this pre-season is any indication, you won't see much tucking in. In fact, my complaint from what little I have seen is that it makes the players look like women who are wearing oversized tee-shirts as pajamas. Like the shirts are too long and should be tucked in.
Sharks unis look real good with the classic style. Ducks and Kings need to get words off of the jerseys. Kings look good otherwise. Those are pretty ribbons that the ducks have. Was there a sale at Yardage City? The worst are the teams integrating the vertical piping/striping.
I actually like the Sharks one, the old-school designs are sleek (not of the Earl variety) and simple. It's hard to think there are some people that like the old ones, especially with those ghastly Denver Broncos-inspired black side panels on the old home jersey.
Is it the allergic reaction to orange the fans have picked up since the logo change, or what?
Not to my knowledge, but I suppose there's still time for a mysterious benefactor.

That reminds me. It has been somewhat irritating that my pseudonym surname is so associated with the Reebok jerseys. "Sleek this" and "Sleek that". Oh well.

A gal from my office went to the Ducks game last night.
Me: So how'd the new uniforms look?
Her: They have new uniforms? Oh, you mean the Kings new uniform.
So at least from the layfan's perspective, the Ducks' changes were minimal enough not to be noticed (sample size = 1).
OMGWTF!!?!??!?!!

My condolences...
Oh, one other thing comes to mind...

So anybody already made up their minds that they're going to buy one of these bad boys?

Hell no. Not if the Sharks go with that design.
I can't say no way no how. It took me 7 years after relocating out here to buy my first Ducks sweater. The new one might take an additional 10.
As for buying: those vintage Seals sweaters are looking kind of cool right now, to me.
And, apart from the "Los Angeles" on the bottom, I do like the Kings design. It's probably the only uniform with purple in it that's understated.

I'm in the exact same boat. I will say, though, that my white Disney Vishnevski jersey is starting to look a little dated.
Still, that's the beauty of green shirt. It'll never agree with the home uniform.

I think they look sharp.
Also, check the 'A' getzlaf's sportin'
I nabbed the pic from the tourney of logos site.
Luckily I bought me a Perry at the start of last year. Almost looks the same. Less the even uglier orange banded collar.
Hey Sleek you going to London?

I thought the Ducks won the Cup, not a pageant. What's with the sash?
OMGWTF!!
