Holy.
Flirking.
Schnitt.

Earl, this is genuis. Genuis! I love the elbow on Captain Elbows's head. I wonder if they fight for evil world domination with the Slag-Faced Whores.

"To be continued?"

Perhaps not.

Perhaps not.

Don't like the concept? The art? The inability to get past the Ducks and their suspension history?

I still got a pretty slow and uneventful offseason to fill, but I don't really know how to react to this blanket criticism.

awesome :D

I like it. I fear the first time Dustin Brown demolishes someone (please, please let it be Corey Perry) on the Ducks; the guys on the Ducks' bench are going to have to play rock, paper, scissors to decide who gets to cheap shot him.

Brilliant man. You have to get Burke in there somehow as the Charlie to those "Angels". Maybe one step further and have Holstrom, Moore and Johnsson form a counter team, but yeah...that just screams "you went too far" somehow.

Earl Sleek said...

Oh, I'm all for "you went too far", don't worry about that. I'm pretty sold on the Burkie's Angels angle too.

Villains should be fun. And so far, your suggestion is the best.

And seriously, if anyone has any stuff you want me to try to draw, no promises, but I'm open to suggestions.

A superhero cartoon for every player. Look forward to it.

Hahahahaha, I love it. Perhaps a special guest appearance by Selanne and Kariya as the NHL's Ambigiously Gay Duo?

If that happens I'll be crying tears of joy!

Couple of seasons ago, there were comic strips in Korean for every MLB team, done by Choi Hoon. No one could figure them out for awhile, but they were full of snark and sass. Perhaps something like that would be in order...

Jibber Jabber (in Korean)

Wow, those Korean comic strips (well, I only "read" one) are impressive! I don't know if I have 30 comic strips in me, but it's certainly something to strive for!

Nice find!

What would complete it for me would be some sort of "anti-Oilers" symbol on Captain Elbow's chest.

By anti-Oilers, I immediately thought of green, as in the environment. Not what you had in mind, for sure, but he does carpool to his day job, in a Prius....

Pretty damn funny. I think "humor" makes a much better defense mechanism than "denial".
