For the second year in a row, the Ducks await the Sharks in the Western Conference Finals, eager to engage in the first-ever Battle of California.
Uh, do us a favor and make it this time, Sharks.
(Sleek's official stance: FIRST I am rooting for a game seven, and THEN I am rooting for the Sharks.)

Congrats to the Ducks, perfect way to end it: blow up the Canuck winger, loose puck eludes a distracted Luongo. And uhh I guess congrats to the GS Warriors, but did they have to go on a run THIS year? They're going to steal all the BofC hype!!
I think the more pressing concern is who you guys are rooting for on American Idol.
Truth be told, I've never even seen one minute of American Idol.
I was just trying to capture the superficial American attitude best captured in the O.C. :)
Boy, my old cartoons were really something, huh? I even put shadows to show the glow of the TV screen.

It's the mark of a good cartoonist that natural details like shadows are overlooked by the reader because the artwork is so real...

Yeah...never have I so if you said I name I would have had no idea who you were talking about anyways.

It's true, I felt like I was there.
Great cartoon, Earl!
Not-so great NucksDucks series though. What a crazy ending, huh? That OT goal moment may live for eternity.
The Ducks are silly-good and really should advance to the Finals this year. A Battle of California would be grand. I have been banking on that happening all along with my pool picks!
I hope you get your battle man...can't say I'll be pulling for the Ducks, but it'd be a hell of series anyway.
What amazes me is not the skill of these California teams, but the ex-Blackhawks who are the masterminds behind the teams: Doug Wilson and Bob Murray.
Clearly, they are the reason that these teams have fared so well.
Now, if the Kings would only hire Keith Brown as a GM or DPD or something, then you'd have a playoff trifecta.

Bah, don't lie Sleek. You may post a tirade on not voting but I bet you secretly vote for the girl on American Idol with the biggest tits.

Your point?
Silly me for not noticing earlier, but I like the sidebar denoting Vancouver as yesterday's news. :D
Sleek, how did it work out for you last year with the sitting and waiting for the winner of the Oil/SJ? I guess the Ducks laid a whipping on the flu-addled Oilers, right?
Right??
