Really do you have to rub it in that maybe Turco is really not all that great of a goalie. Just be happy that the Kings (and many other teams) seem to know how to beat him.
I mentioned it with regard to Ottawa, but here you have another team that tweaked and traded puzzle pieces when they were in first place and looking un-beatable, only to go on a losing streak - big time.
Thank god Smith is gone, he is a goalie the Ducks had real trouble with.
It's not just Marty, the entire team is imploding. (Though I can hardly doubt having 3 shutouts in the playoffs last year is "imploding" for Marty. The rest of the team imploded, he's the only one who played well)

ReplyDeleteLooks like he's imploding early this year. Good job, Kings.
ReplyDeleteAny possibility Dallas is tanking games to avoid Anaheim in the first round?
ReplyDeleteTurco blew a late lead to the Kings? Sounds like it's time to fire another GM.
ReplyDeleteHe's proven over and over that he's not a big game goaltender.
ReplyDeleteRight on time...sort of!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you Marty.
