Sticking to My Comfort Zone

Chris Pronger isn't the only Californian defenseman with a blog. Go, Jaroslav:

"Our coach in Los Angeles, Marc Crawford, has paired [Jack Johnson and Modry] up together this season and I try to give Jack a pointer or two here and there of what I’ve learned over the years."

If Jack falls down on a 2-on-1 tonight, now we know why.

Blog or no blog, I still hate Modry and still think he's the worst defenseman on our team!!

  2. I knew that was coming. From what I understand, Harrold is pretty close to getting called up. Of course, this means Preissing will sit, and then your head will explode.

  3. Poor Modry. He seems like a nice guy.

Easy for you to say "Poor Norstrom" Patty, you've got Matias Norstrom on your blue line.

Yes, I'm still angry about that trade!

Whoops, that should have said "Poor Modry"

  6. Yeah, Norstrom's growing on me. When I didn't know him, I was hoping they'd trade him for scoring if they were going to do it, but now I don't want to trade him, either. I want to keep all our defensemen.

  7. Lets be honest. Matty was a good character guy, a warrior, but he wasn't all THAT good at actual hockey. And Modry is all THAT bad, he has been one of our better defensemen (results-wise) he just looks bad doing it.

You are out of your mind Doc, he's terrible. I'd take Matty back in a minute to get rid of Modry. Character guy?! He was our captain and played against the other teams top scoring lines!! Modry is a joke. Coincidentally, the Kings website has a poll this week on who is the most valuable defenseman on the team. Guess who the bottom 2 are...well, you know one and the other is sorry ass d-man Stuart.
